What is is about me, America and Rain?

We have just had the most ridiculous storm and flooding, it's so rare in this county for the amount of flooding they called a state of emergency and none of the campers were allowed to leave camp!!! (This was the worst part obviously!) we were playing Human Monopoly inside when the camp director came in and sent us all back to our tents and we all had to go everywhere in pairs, and got no sleep for fear of floating away in the tents! it has just been a completely mad couple of days, and I can only blame myself because I'm sure if I wasn't here then it wouldn't have happened. Then the next morning (this morning) when the roads were still closed we were all upset by the thought of not going to New York!! Luckily, we have now left camp and are in one of the American staff's houses, just had a lovely turkey dinner! New York, New York!!!!
