Well, what can I say!

After the madness of cities and trek, I am now completely chilled out! It really is so beautiful here and so relaxing, I'm loving every minute. Have mostly been chilling out on Waikiki Beach, which has a lovely enclosed bay area so the sharks and big waves can't get in! have also been on a trip around the island (Oahu) and to see Pearl Harbour. That was amazing to see, we went to the Arizona memorial and it's very eerie, you can see so much of the boat, and it's right there just under the surface.

As you can imagine, I've become a total beach bum and am very tanned now, also quite burned, had to use Factor 45, the sun is just crazy hot here. The beach is beautiful and I would like to see some more remote parts. the pictures are of Diamond Head Crater (a dormant volcano - I hope!!) and the view from Pearl Harbour. Waikiki and Honolulu are much more city-like than I thought they would be, in the middle of the city you feel like you could be in any city in the USA, there's Starbucks and everything. But they're just so much better cos you're in Hawaii! Hopefully gonna do a bit of surfing while I'm here, I'm just scared by the big waves and the even bigger sharks!!
